THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED Live At The PUBLIC THEATER!See The Live Performance in NYC
We're kicking off the New Year with a full week of live performances of THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED in the Under The Radar Festival at New York’s venerable Public Theater! It is my great honor to be included in this celebration of new and cutting-edge performance from the U.S. and abroad. This festival provides a snapshot of contemporary theater, richly distinct in perspectives, aesthetics, and social practice, while pointing to the future of the art form.
In a political and media landscape filled with propaganda, misinformation, personal smear and outright falsehoods it is important to remember that We The People have the power to take back the truth!
But we must take ACTION. We must be the voice of TRUTH in the face of those out to corrupt our Democracy for profit.
THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED at Under The Radar will give you the tools to advocate for sane and progressive climate, immigration and economic policy for the future of our country and the world. Through my personal stories and experiences fighting the Oil and Gas Industry THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED entertains as much as it informs. A truly unique experience not to be missed!
In the weeks to come we’ll be making more big announcements so stay tuned! Whether you’re in New York for the live performances at The Public Theater or busy working for change in your own communities across the country, we’ll be providing opportunities for all of you to be a part of the action.
Like all of my work, YOU are instrumental in shaping the message and impact of every word as we bring new audiences from AWARENESS of the urgent issues of our time to ACTION in the fight for our planet and for all of our brothers and sisters who live here.
Let’s TAKE BACK THE TRUTH once and for all!

Meet El Paso’s Punk Rock Border AngelsNew Piece In The Daily Beast
My latest piece is now available via The Daily Beast! "Meet El Paso’s Punk Rock Border Angels," is a story of human dignity and perseverance in the midst of great hardship. El Paso’s punk rock Border Angels are a homegrown NGO that delivers supplies to migrants and tries to track down separated children.
These amazing folks are working to put a human face on the southern border. They prove that we can have a sane response to immigration - but we have to stop racism and violence first. We need compassion and food. NOT WALLS!
THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED IS ALSO A STORY ABOUT IMMIGRATION
If you're familiar with my past work, you might wonder how my latest film THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED relates to immigration and the truth is, it's deeply personal to me, as it is to so many. I am the grandson of immigrants. My grandparents are Holocaust survivors who found refuge in America; America was a place of Asylum.
Not anymore. Today, we’re turning away people who are facing genocide, we’re turning away people who are facing dire, dire circumstances. And this is just a harbinger of what’s to come.
We must imagine a new way ... Please help me take this message and my latest film THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED out on tour to more than 100 cities across the United States.

The truth has changed, but our methods for creating change have not. #TheTruthHasChanged #RallyTheTruth
It’s Time To Talk About The Truth, Will You Join Me?RALLY THE TRUTH!!!
I've been on the road for most of the last decade, touring my films to hundreds of cities across six continents. I've always brought my films -- GASLAND, GASLAND PART II, HOW TO LET GO OF THE WORLD AND LOVE ALL THE THINGS CLIMATE CAN'T CHANGE, AWAKE, A DREAM FROM STANDING ROCK -- directly to the places where our movement has needed them the most.
That’s why I'm writing to you today. I need your help to do it again with my latest project, THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED. A filmed live journalistic exposé that traces my personal arc through nearly two decades of frontline reporting, from 9/11 to the frontlines of fracking, to the BP oil spill, to Hurricane Sandy and more.
Next week I'm launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise $100k to bring THE TRUTH HAS CHANGED to 100 cities across the country. Now is the time to shine a light on climate change, energize our movement, and mobilize audiences from awareness to action.
This is deeply personal to me, as it is to so many. I am the grandson of immigrants. My grandparents are Holocaust survivors who found refuge in America. America was a place of Asylum.
Not anymore. Today, we’re turning away people who are facing violence, famine and dire environmental threats related to Climate Change.
The United Nations estimates we are going to have 200 million to a billion climate refugees moving around the planet to find new homes because of droughts, fires, basic destabilization, lack of food, extreme weather and sea level rise. Our false borders cannot hold. We must imagine a new way.
Thank you. I hope you'll consider backing our Kickstarter campaign. Let's organize and rally the truth to take back our power!
